Von dort aus geht es bergauf und weiter durch den Wald zur Mittelberg-Alpe, wo Sie eine herzhafte Allgäuer Brotzeit genießen können. Weiter führt der Weg vorbei an der Alpe Birkach durch das schöne Birkachmoor, das mit seinem Pavillon zum Verweilen einlädt. Anschließend wandern Sie in Richtung Höllritzer-Alpe, wo Sie kühle Getränke und eine stärkende Brotzeit auf der Terrasse genießen können, begleitet vom Läuten der Kuhschellen. Nach der Pause geht es weiter bergauf zum Bleicherhorn, das einen herrlichen Ausblick in die Allgäuer Bergwelt bietet. Schon nach wenigen Minuten folgt das Höllritzereck, ein weiterer Gipfel mit 360-Grad-Blick auf die umliegenden. Der Weg führt Sie weiter zur Prinschen-Hütte, einer idyllisch im Moor gelegenen Alpe. Vor der Hütte biegen Sie links ab und wandern bergab durch den Wald zur Grafenälpe, einem Umweltbildungsstützpunkt des Naturparks Nagelfluhkette. Von hier aus gelangen Sie auf der Teerstraße durch das ruhige Ostertal zum Ostertaltobel. Das letzte Stück führt vorbei an Wasserfällen und Strudeln zurück zum Parkplatz Gunzesried-Säge. Tipp: Wem die Tour so etwas zu lang ist, der kann wunderbar abkürzen. Auf der Mautstraße (8,00 €, Einfahrt zwischen 6.00 Uhr und 21.00 Uhr möglich) bis zur Höllritzer-Alpe fahren (Achtung begrenzte Parkmöglichkeiten) und dann von hier aus starten.
